Beacon home of Salvation Army Christmas Appeal Tree
Beacon of Light is welcoming the local community to do something good this Christmas as we’re hosting a Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal Tree.
As restrictions continue to lift, we’re delighted to let you know that the Beacon of Light is once again open to the public seven-days a week!
The Beacon houses an indoor multi-sports arena, six 3G 5-a-side football pitches, a 4G football pitch on the roof, as well as World of Work and education zones.
The venue is available to book from 9am every day and can be utilised for football, futsal, netball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, fitness and training.
The home of SAFC’s charity, Foundation of Light, is an award-winning community hub and before the pandemic regularly welcomed 6,000 visitors a week!
All proceeds from bookings made at the Beacon go straight back into supporting Foundation of Light programmes, helping the charity continue to support those who need it most across the local community.
OPENING TIMES (as of September 2021):
Monday – Thursday: 9am-10pm
Friday: 9am-9pm
Saturday: 9am-4pm
