Café Manager (Full time)

The Foundation of Light is seeking to recruit a dynamic and experienced individual to fulfil the exciting role of Café Manager.

The Café Manager role is responsible for three key areas of the Beacon of Light catering operation; café management, vending and event catering, ensuring effective planning and coordination across these areas, delivering the highest level of service and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a proven track record in catering management. They will have a sound knowledge of industry standards, management of stock control, supplier negotiations and café budgets.

The base for the post is the Beacon of Light, Sunderland.

About the Foundation of Light

Proceeds from the Beacon are donated to SAFC's official charity, Foundation of Light. Over 20 years, the Foundation has supported over half a million people from across Sunderland, South Tyneside and County Durham by tackling some of the region's biggest challenges including, obesity, unemployment, anti-social behaviour and poor mental health.

Just £4 will provide a disabled child with specialist sport classes, whilst £10 helps the Foundation teach a family to cook healthy meals on a budget. Every pound you spend with us makes a real difference.
