Vote for Beacon Bridge

Sunderland's newest landmark is one step closer to officially being named as voting opens on the name's of the new Wear Footbridge.

After more than 1,000 submissions, the people of Sunderland are being asked to choose from three shortlisted options.

Beacon Bridge is among the three finalist names, and we think it has a very nice ring to it.
