Yard Nine sponsors Foundation of Light's Community Clubs
The Beacon of Light’s Yard Nine café is giving their support to the Foundation of Light’s Community Club teams.
Beacon of Light hosted the first-ever Sporting Force Veterans Road Show on Wednesday as the Veterans community reconnected in a networking event.
The Roadshow aimed to bring together Veterans and their families as well as social services, and non-profit organisations under the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust.
Over 30 organisations were in attendance to provide well-being support, advice and information on the many benefits and services available to Veterans, with attendees in awe of how much support there is in the North East for military who have served.
For the younger generation in attendance, they were able to enjoy free sporting activities, with the building a hive of activity throughout the day.
Reflecting on a successful day, Sporting Force said: Thank you so much to the Beacon of Light and thank you to everyone who attended.
“It was amazing to see you all and meet new faces. It was such a great day.”
