Allied Mobility Wheelchair Rugby Nationals to Take Place at the Beacon of Light
Beacon of Light will host Great Britain Wheelchair Rugby's Allied Mobility Wheelchair Rugby Nationals this March.
SAFC Matchday Fan Zones at the Beacon
Ahead of every Sunderland AFC home game the Beacon of Light plays host the Matchday Fan Zone.
The venue welcomes both home and away fans to gather ahead of each game for pre-match refreshments and entertainment in the countdown to kick-off.
Supporters can enjoy:
- Football drop-in with Foundation of Light coach (outdoor pitches)
- Food and drink available to buy from Fausto Coppa
- FIFA 22 on the XBoxes
- Visit from Black Cats mascots Samson and Delilah
- Music from Spark Radio
- Countdown to kick off and team news
The Matchday Fan Zone is open for 2.5 hours before home games, for 3pm kick-off doors will open at 12.30.
The Fan Zone does not operate for evening fixtures.
