Pentland Group enjoy Olympic-themed away day at Beacon
Beacon of Light hosted an Olympic-themed away day for staff at Pentland Group.
Pentland Group own several retail brands including sportswear and equipment suppliers such as Canterbury, Ellesse, and Mitre.
With Paris 2024 just around the corner alongside their links to the sports industry, a day of team-bonding based on Olympic sports was the perfect fit.
The Beacon offers a versatile space with a range of facilities from our classrooms to multi-sport arena, making us an ideal venue for corporate and staff away days.
Pentland Group staff from their Sunderland office competed in a range of games including basketball free throws, a badminton serving challenge, and relay races.

Beacon of Light proudly hosted a welcome for Peter Stewart, a primary school head teacher from Manchester who is walking over 1,000 miles between all 20 Premier League stadiums.
