Official SAFC Matchday Fan Zones at the Beacon
There is a lot of excitement around the new 2023/24 season starting, and we are equally as excited to announce that ahead of every Sunderland AFC home game the Beacon of Light will play host the official Matchday Fan Zone.
We are welcoming both home and away fans to gather ahead of every home game for pre-match entertainment, activities and food and drink in the countdown to kick-off.
The Matchday Fan Zone will open 2.5 hours before each game.
Attending supporters can enjoy:
- Football drop-in with Foundation of Light coach (outdoor pitches)
- Food and drink available to buy from Fausto Coppa
- FIFA 23 on the XBoxes
- Visit from Black Cats mascots Samson and Delilah
- Music
- Countdown to kick off and team news
Family Friendly Sunderland AFC Fan Zones return for 2025/26 Premier League
Since launching in 2018, the official matchday Fan Zone has become a key pre-match stop off, especially for Black Cats families with a range of activities available for both children and parents.
