Beacon of Light hosts Foundation's Utilita Football Festival
Beacon of Light was delighted to welcome almost 2,000 through its doors for the Utilita Football Festival.
Foundation of Light will host their first Business Breakfast at the Beacon of Light with new IT services partner, Aspire Technology Solutions.
The award-winning computer support and service provider will work alongside Sunderland AFC’s official charity for the next three years, helping the Foundation with cloud, connectivity and IT support.
The partnership will also see Aspire sponsor a series of business networking events at the Beacon that bring together partners and supporters of the Foundation.
The quarterly Business Breakfasts will give the opportunity to bring together like-minded local organisations to meet with the Foundation’s extensive partner network, as the city and wider business community continues to reconnect following the impact of lockdown and Covid-19.

Ahead of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup opener at the Stadium of Light, the Beacon of Light will have to close on the day of the game, due to transport restrictions.
As part of the Beacon’s commitment to making sport accessible and our goal to keep young people active over the summer, we are offering junior rates until Sunday 7 September.
