⚽️ Foundation of Light holiday courses
Foundation of Light‘s first holiday courses of the year will run during February half-term. The ever-popular sessions allow children to participate in a range of activities during school holidays, including football, baking and disability multisport.

🏀 Basketball
Our half-term drop-in sessions are the perfect family activity. For half-term only, you can shoot some hoops in our indoor arena.
🏓 Table tennis
As well as basketball, you can try your hand at table tennis during our half-term drop-in sessions.

Challenge your friends to a game of EAFC24 on our street level Xboxes.
🎬 Movie night
Bring your family along 4.00pm Friday 23 February for our free hot chocolate and movie night that will continue with ‘Cars’.

The Beacon of Light’s Yard Nine café is giving their support to the Foundation of Light’s Community Club teams.
The Beacon of Light will host a dedicated Remembrance Day Fan Zone ahead of Sunderland AFC’s match against Coventry City.
Baroness Estelle Morris of Yardley, a trustee of Sunderland AFC’s official charity, took part in the conference and called the Beacon ‘a fantastic building’ adding that ‘what happens here is absolutely key.’
