Supporters and the local community can now get even more from every visit to the Beacon of Light with the launch of Beacon of Light Membership.
Bumper Fan Zone for Foundation of Light Matchday
Foundation of Light are collaborating with ATW Tree and Landscaping to host a bumper Fan Zone for Foundation of Light Matchday.
Ahead of Sunderland AFC's fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion you can join us at the Beacon of Light for a range of free, family-friendly activities.
Activities will be hosted throughout the Beacon, on the outdoor football pitches, and on the indoor arena, including:
- Football Kickabout
- Football Inflatables
- Badminton
- Basketball
- Table Tennis
- Mini Golf
- Football Inflatables
- Face Painting
- Arts and Crafts
- And Much More
A Stagecoach bus will be parked in the Beacon's front car park for supporters to drop off their Easter eggs as part of the Foundation of Light's appeal, which will then be distributed to families in need across the region.
The Fan Zone will also feature a Topps Premier League Sticker Swap Shop, so bring along your swaps and meet other collectors to get those albums completed!
There will be a series of stalls to find out more about the Foundation of Light's work and the charity's impact across Sunderland, South Tyneside, and County Durham.

Beacon of Light proudly hosted a welcome for Peter Stewart, a primary school head teacher from Manchester who is walking over 1,000 miles between all 20 Premier League stadiums.
Beacon of Light to host Girls Football Showcase ahead of women’s Wear-Tyne Derby
Our ‘Girls Football Showcase’ will take place from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Sunday 29 March, offering a range of pre-match activities before The Lasses kick off at the Stadium of Light at 2pm.
