Beacon welcomes scores of international fans
Sunderland AFC's game against Bristol City at the Stadium of Light saw the third International Fans' Day, with supporters traveling from all across the globe to back the Black Cats against the Robins.

The Beacon of Light hosted the official pre-match Fan Zone, supported by Premier League Fans Fund, welcoming supporters from some of the club’s 35 overseas supporters' branches, including Portugal, Germany, Canada, New Zealand and Tasmania, to name a few.

The international fans enjoyed a tour of the Beacon, with some supporters taking the opportunity to have a kickabout on the outdoor pitches.

The visitors also had a tour of the venue and enjoyed the Fan Zone activities before heading over to the SoL for the game.

Ahead of every home game the beacon of Light hosts the pre-match Fan Zone, two hours of match build-up including football, music, Samson and Delilah and refreshments.
