Beacon of Light Fan Zones back for 2024/25
The Sunderland AFC matchday Fan Zone is back at the Beacon for the 2024/25 season.
Make the most of matchday with a visit to the Beacon of Light ahead of kick-off for your pre-match entertainment and refreshments.
Perfect for families, our Fan Zone features a free kickabout for children on the outdoor mini-pitches, while the Yard Nine café will be open to serve a range of food, hot drinks, and alcohol.
Beacon of Light Fan Zones kick off this Sunday for SAFC’s first home game against Sheffield Wednesday.
The Beacon will be open from 9:30am until the 12pm kick-off.
Mascots Samson and Delilah are regularly in attendance, and you can pick up your Ha’way and Play matchday lottery ticket from sellers at the Beacon. Supporters can also enjoy:

Beacon of Light proudly hosted a welcome for Peter Stewart, a primary school head teacher from Manchester who is walking over 1,000 miles between all 20 Premier League stadiums.
Beacon of Light to host Girls Football Showcase ahead of women’s Wear-Tyne Derby
Our ‘Girls Football Showcase’ will take place from 11:30am until 1:30pm on Sunday 29 March, offering a range of pre-match activities before The Lasses kick off at the Stadium of Light at 2pm.
