The Beacon of Light will be closed this Saturday (21 September) ahead of the Sunderland vs Middlesbrough game.
Due to the planned road closures and accessibility of the building and surrounding areas, the venue won’t be open to the public.
All bookings on the day have been cancelled, with customers who are affected being contacted directly.
As a result of the closure there will also be no matchday Fan Zone.

Sunderland supporters are in for a bumper afternoon of family fun at the Beacon of Light this Sunday (25 October), as we celebrate Foundation of Light's 25th anniversary ahead of the Black Cats' clash with Leeds United.
The display will coincide with Wear Red and White Day on Friday 23rd October, when schools, businesses, organisations and supporters across the region are encouraged to show their support by wearing the club’s colours.
Our brand-new red and white padel courts at the Beacon of Light are ready for play, with availability from Monday 12 October.
