A Successful Summer at the Beacon

Official SAFC Matchday Fan Zones at the Beacon
We are excited to announce that ahead of every Sunderland AFC home game the Beacon of Light will play host the official Matchday Fan Zone.
SAFC stars join bumper Family Fun Day
Sunderland AFC and Sunderland Women stars were given a warm Wearside welcome by hundreds of families at a special Fun Day event at the Beacon of Light.

Week 1 of Summer at the Beacon was a roaring success
Over 250 youngsters took part in activities in the first week of Summer at the Beacon. Activities included 2&3 day football courses, Summer Holiday Clubs, baking and cooking courses, Disability sports, multi-sports, Future Lionesses Day and FIFA tournament and kickabout.
Our FREE Community Fun Day Is Back
On Thursday 17th August, families will be entertained at the home of the Foundation of Light as our ever-popular community fun day returns to Wearside.
