SAFC stars join bumper Family Fun Day
Sunderland AFC and Sunderland Women stars were given a warm Wearside welcome by hundreds of families at a special Fun Day event at the Beacon of Light.

Theres a lot to celebrate this summer at the Beacon. It's our 5th birthday, the Lionesses are through to the knockout stages of the World Cup and our Summer at the Beacon programme is going great. To celebrate we are offering a 3 for 2 offer on our indoor arena and 4G rooftop barn.
Week 1 of Summer at the Beacon was a roaring success
Over 250 youngsters took part in activities in the first week of Summer at the Beacon. Activities included 2&3 day football courses, Summer Holiday Clubs, baking and cooking courses, Disability sports, multi-sports, Future Lionesses Day and FIFA tournament and kickabout.
