Beacon of Light is welcoming the local community to do something good this Christmas as we’re hosting a Salvation Army Christmas Present Appeal Tree.

Get your fitness fix in your lunch break with Beacon of Light's new 30 minute drop-in sessions.
Finding time to fit sport and activities into your busy schedule can prove difficult so participating in sports activities during your lunch hour can be the perfect answer.
Playing sport can help you stay physically and mentally fit and is a great way to alleviate stress and increase productivity during your working day.
The Beacon also have lockers, showers and changing facilities available to use, and the new Yard Nine café can supply you with some coffee and lunch.
Beacon of Light General Manager, Jemma Dowson said: “We have noticed an increased popularity in people using the Beacon during their lunch hour so wanted to highlight our new 30 minute dinner hour offering to encourage as many people as possible to participate.”
