Parking update at the Beacon of Light
Visitors to the Beacon of Light are being advised of new parking arrangements for the front car park, which have now come into effect following the completion of new bay markings and signage.
Soft play is returning to the Beacon, along with our brand new multi-sport drop-in sessions.
Every Friday in October, visitors can come along to the Beacon for our ‘Friday Fun Days’ which will include a range of fun for all ages.
Soft play – Perfect for infants to run, climb and have fun while their parents enjoy a cuppa.
Multi-sports drop-in – A range of activities set up in the arena, including table tennis, badminton and half-court basketball.
Morning sessions:
10.00am-11.30am
Afternoon sessions:
13.00pm-14.30pm
£3 per session
The fun day aims to provide infants, parents and students with a place to have fun, play, relax, work or enjoy a cuppa.
Speaking about the new fun day, Beacon of Light General Manager, Jemma Dowson said: “We look forward to welcoming the new programs as we aim to make the Beacon a day-time hub for the local community.”
