Dedicated Show Racism The Red Card Fan Zone
Beacon of Light will be supporting Sunderland AFC's dedicated ‘Show Racism The Red Card’ matchday with a special themed Fan Zone this Saturday.
Since it opened its doors three years ago, the Beacon of Light has quickly made a name for itself as the home of junior football in the North East.
With a range of football formats on offer, our state-of-the-art facilities are the perfect place to develop mini soccer teams and we’ve welcomed thousands of young people, their coaches and their parents through our doors to play the beautiful game since 2018.
But don’t just take our word for it! We’re supported by the Football Foundation, the FA and Premier League and we’re currently home to the Sunderland Regional Talent Centre for Girls and a regular training facility for Sunderland AFC Academy teams. There really is no better venue in the North East to develop young skills and grow the grassroots game.
This winter, we’re on the search for football clubs to call this fantastic facility home. We’re offering teams from under-6 to under-9 bespoke and priority access to support not only player development, training and game play but also support coaches and parents too.
