Beacon of Light hosts networking breakfast for Sunderland Business Improvement District
Beacon of Light proudly hosted the Sunderland Business Improvement District’s Business Breakfast.
Ahead of the 2025 Women’s Rugby World Cup opener at the Stadium of Light, the Beacon of Light will have to close on the day of the game, due to transport restrictions.
The venue won’t be open to the public on Friday 22nd August 2025.
All bookings on those days have been cancelled, with customers who are affected by the closures being contacted directly.
In the build-up to the England v USA game, car parking around the venue will be limited, with only the Blue and Yellow Car Parks available to the public on a first come, first served basis from Sunday 17 to Wednesday 20 August, and just the Blue Car Park on Thursday 21 August.
Car sharing and using public transport where possible is advised, as there will be limited parking serving all facilities within Stadium Park, including Hilton Garden Inn, SAFC Ticket Office, Sunderland Aquatic Centre and Beacon of Light.
