We are inviting families to gather around our big screen and enjoy the new Disney release, ‘Wish’.
Summer at the Beacon concluded last week, leaving us and everyone who took part with some life-long memories. Over the course of the six weeks, an amazing 7,500 took part in our sessions, including:
Football courses
Cooking and Baking courses
Future Lionesses Day
Tastes of the World
Disability Multi-Sports
FIFA Tournament and Kickabout
Summer Holiday Club
Slime Club
Not to mention our famous Family Fun Day where nearly 5,000 people attended to enjoy a wide range of free activities and meet some special guests from SAFC’s Mens and Womens teams.
The overwhelming response to the Summer programme highlights the Beacon of Light's significant impact on the local community. By providing accessible and inclusive activities, the facility ensures that individuals of all ages and backgrounds can engage in positive experiences. And as always, all money made from Summer at the Beacon goes straight back into the Foundation of Light, helping make a difference in the local community.
Even though the Summer programme has comes to a close, the Beacon continues to offer a range of sports, events, wellbeing and education.
